Background of the Week

I have decided to start something new to brighten up the start and hopefully all of your week. Every Sunday night I like to look around for a new inspirational quote to use as my background to motivate me for the week! This weeks quote comes from Thomas Jefferson:

So this is what background I'm sporting for the week to keep me motivated! What is your go-to motivational quote?

From an ok Monday to an AMAZING Wednesday

As much as I hate to admit it, I had a horrible Monday. Horrible to the point that I just felt like nothing was going to work out. It seemed like all of the schedules of things that I do kept overlapping to the point that I was having to make hard decisions as to what I was going to be able to go to. I stressed and stressed and worried and then finally after spending pretty much all of Tuesday being disconnected from my school life (because I work all day on Tuesdays) I was finally able to de-stress and get a grip on everything that I have going on.

I had to think a lot about priorities.

And to be honest it sucked.

Not because I don't love everything that I am involved in, but because I absolutely LOVE everything that I do. I wouldn't do it if I didn't. So its incredibly hard making a choice between one love and another. It's almost like saying you have to choose between your brother and your sister, because they are both your siblings and you love them both so it's hard to pick just one of them to do something with (But yet we all have our favorite siblings ;) ).

SO after three days, I have finally set my priorities straight and learned that the majority of it is balancing my schedule. It's also knowing things that I have to go to, and things that it is okay for me to miss. And the biggest, and hardest part is learning to say NO, to some things that I know I just do not have time for.

So with all that said I would like to leave you with this which I consider to be a philosophy of mine.

It's Ok Thursday

Linking up with Neely at A Complete Waste of Makeup for Its ok Thursday!

Its Ok Thursdays

Its ok:

That I have a biology test on Monday but I won't get to study for it till Friday.

That I get to have fun at the Black light pep rally tonight, even though I need to do homework

To wonder why we even still have homecoming in college.

Not to be excited that its homecoming week.

That I developed a need to have to drink orange juice every morning.

That upon purchasing my iPhone 4s I now want to buy an infinite number of cute cases off of Etsy.

That I ate totinos pizza and ramen for dinner cause I felt like it.

That I didn't watch the political debate yet because I didn't have time. Yay for DVR.

That i'm excited about 60 being the high on Saturday.
